You’ll be able to work your way round 40 of London’s best restaurants at Taste of London, each offering samples of its signature dishes. Newcomers to this year’s lineup include Aster, Jamavar and Kricket, alongside ToL veterans such as The Cinnamon Club and Roka. There’ll also be live demonstrations from a selection of the UK’s most renowned chefs, including Sandia Chang, Tom Kerridge, Francesco Mazzei, Ping Coombes and José Pizarro.
New for 2017, The Taste Residence is a fine-dining restaurant within the festival, which will be hosting a very impressive roster of chefs: Ollie Dabbous, Massimo Bottura (chef patron at Osteria Francescana in Modena) and Alex Atala (founder of DOM in Sao Paulo) will all be cooking intimate, four-course dinners. Each one-hour session will serve 20-24 covers and be hosted by London’s hospitality king Paulo de Tarso (Margot).
If you prefer to get hands-on with your food, Taste of London also offers interactive cooking experiences and Champagne, wine and craft beer masterclasses, as well as samples and products from over 200 of the UK’s finest gourmet producers.
