AlphaOne City Centre Management – part of C&C Alpha Groups’ AlphaG:Corp business – has joined hands with Venus Infrastructure to develop CG Square as the cultural centre of Ahmedabad.
The retail space – which has an area of around 30 lakh square feet, was thrown open for public on Thursday. It will house an auditorium for plays, musical programmes, debates and discussion events.
Other than housing stores of renowned brands, CG Square will also feature an auditorium with a seating capacity of around 400 people.
“Generally retail malls house a multiplex. But, we are coming up with an auditorium as we plan make it (CG Square) the cultural hub of the city,” said Proditpta Sen, executive director of Alpha G:Corp and director of Alpha Management Services. “The city will rejoice CG Square as one of the most satisfying and enriching outing options in its category. Our endeavor is to consistently enhance best practices and professional systems, surpassing even the best in the world,” added Sen.
AlphaG:Corp – which owns and manages AlphaOne Mall – has expanded its footprint in Ahmedabad with an undertaking management contract of CG Square.
Rajesh Vaswani, executive director of Venus Group of Companies, said: “CG Square is now set to become the most popular destination for Amdavadis, who have never experienced retail, dining, cultural and entertainment choices at CG Square. We look forward to a great success in this venture for every person involved and for complete satisfaction of our patrons.”
